Assitant Innkeepers Wanted Inn At Brierley Hill
The Inn at Brierley Hill in Lexington, VA is currently seeking Assistant Innkeepers. The job includes overseeing the day-to-day operations and activities of the inn including:
Breakfast: Set-up, prepare breakfast, serve guests and then cleanup of the dining room & kitchen
Reservations: Make reservations, describe guest room details and amenities
Guest Services: Facilitate guest arrivals and departures, amenity services, concierge services
Housekeeping: Maintain overall standards for cleanliness of the Inn, next day preparation and readiness of dining room and kitchen, guest rooms, do laundry, supervise housekeeping with duties for day, perform daily room inspections
The Assistant Innkeeper will establish a positive rapport with guests, acting as a daily host/hostess – from the time of arrival to the time of departure. Guests should always be treated as if they are staying in the Innkeeper’s home, to ensure the most pleasant and memorable experience possible.
Assistant Innkeeper will receive daily assignments from and reports directly to the General Manager for the daily operation of the business. He (or she) shall follow all Standard Operating Practices (SOP’s) of the Inn and company employee manual. Other job responsibilities may be assigned based on daily and weekly operational needs, as directed by hotel management.

The housekeeper creates a home-like experience for our guests with welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean comfortable, and inviting environment. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, living areas, change and make beds, assist with laundry, and all Inn common areas and dining room. Our housekeepers must have a tremendous attention to detail and have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays
